alison's bio:
Alison Kling is passionate about helping people and organizations live out their purpose with clarity and confidence. She brings this work to life as the CEO of Free 2 Teach, a nonprofit that equips public school teachers with high-quality supplies so children have what they need to thrive in the classroom. Through her leadership, teaching, and speaking, Alison helps individuals and organizations connect identity to impact. She believes that when we understand who we are and how we lead – and learn how to communicate that clearly – we unlock the power to lead fully at work, at home, and in our communities.
With over two decades of leadership experience, Alison has served communities across the globe as a volunteer, board member, and trusted partner to nonprofits and businesses alike. She began her career in education as an elementary school teacher in New York City with Teach for America. Alison holds a Master of Science in Education from Hunter College, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a certificate in Forced Migration Studies from Oxford University.
She loves reading, running, writing and coffee chats with friends. Alison and her husband, David, live in Huntsville with their four children, George, Teddy, Jack and Lucy.
